1.0.0 – Initial Release
Signature Pad Component for Framer Forms
This release introduces the Signature Pad component designed specifically for Framer Forms. It delivers a complete signing workflow that captures user input and integrates it directly into the form submission process.
Native Form Submission Support
The component includes built-in compatibility with Framer Native Forms. When placed inside a form, the signature data is automatically packaged and submitted without requiring manual wiring or additional logic.
Three Interaction States: Empty, Signing, Signed
The component features three distinct interaction states. These states reflect each stage of the signing experience and allow creators to present different layouts, instructions, or visual cues for each moment of interaction.
Editable Slots for Each State
Every state includes an editable slot, enabling full customization within Framer. Designers can replace, restyle, or animate the visual content for each state, ensuring complete creative flexibility.
Clear Action, Labels, Guides, and Custom Drawing Surface
The Signature Pad includes a built-in Clear action along with customizable labels and optional guides. The drawing surface itself is fully designable, allowing teams to adapt the interface to their exact layout and brand style.
Adjustable Drawing Settings
A detailed set of drawing controls is included, covering stroke width, color, smoothing, thinning, streamline, pressure simulation, and more. These settings allow for precise control over how signatures look and behave.
Multiple Output Formats (Base64 and SVG Path)
Signatures can be exported in various formats, including Base64 image data or SVG path data. This ensures compatibility with different backend systems, storage needs, and visual rendering workflows.
Optional Default Signature Paths
Default signature paths can be displayed automatically when the form loads. This is useful for templates, example signatures, or pre-filled scenarios where a starting signature needs to appear.
